This is the expansion valve suitable for the later Silver Shadows 
(from VIN 4549). When replacing also replace 3 O rings 
(CD6831,CD6809,CD6811 - NOT INCLUDED). The expansion valve and receiver 
drier should always be replaced when replacing the air conditioning 
compressor.
